Ara Rasuli has been the Secretary of the Iranian Society of Queensland, is a key contributor to the Women Life Freedom movement, and currently is treasurer for Hypernova Youth association, a newborn association supporting the growth of young artists. She is also studying Bachelor of Behavioural Science and Bachelor of Laws.
Following the 2022 protests in Iran, sparked by the death of Mahsa/Zhina Amini, who was in custody of Iran’s morality police for “improper” clothing, the movement for women’s rights in Iran took to the global stage. As a member of the Iranian diaspora in Australia, Ara has played a significant role in the development of the Women Life Freedom movement here in Australia. Following the contribution to Women Life Freedom movement and seeing the importance of the role of young generation and their voice, Ara and her friends gathered a new association promoting artists, and troubled youth. The main objective of Hypernova Youth Association is to help and promote troubled youth and artists.
