David Moutou has held the role of Community Capacity Building Manager at City of Parramatta Council since 2013, having joined Council in 2011.
David and the CCB team are responsible for supporting the community sector and resident groups to achieve their aspirations and build strong, resilient communities. The team is also responsible for implementing action plans related to Reconciliation, Domestic Violence, Social Investment and Homelessness.
Prior to working at Council, David was a manager at Twenty10, a state-wide support service for LGBTIQ young people.
David holds a Masters in Social Investment and Philanthropy, is a life member of The Aurora Group: A Ruby Foundation, and is a Director of the National Institute of Challenging Homophobia Education. On the side, David is a Commonwealth-registered Marriage Celebrant.
