Jac is a passionate community development practitioner, teacher, facilitator and author from Bendigo. She has worked in education and community development in Australia, Japan, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Mexico and Bolivia. She is deeply passionate about supporting sustainable community and educational partnerships through innovative program management and policy, with a particular focus on enhancing education in fragile contexts, human rights, cultural diversity and inclusion and promoting healthy communities.
Jac currently works as the Inclusive Communities Officer – Cultural Diversity and Inclusion for the City of Greater Bendigo.
She is author of the children’s book ‘Cycling to Grandmas’ and is also a Celebration Day for Girls facilitator (running positive puberty workshops for girls aged 10-12 and their families). Jac manages the community relationships program and communication program at Crusoeden Body Wellness and is a Reiki Practitioner, Yoga Teacher (RYTA350) and Restorative Yoga Therapist. Jac also holds a Masters in International and Community Development (Deakin) and Bachelor Degree in Education (Victoria University).
