Kate Thomas is the Australasian Lead Consultant and Trainer at The Centre for Healing and Justice through Sport. She has over 20 years of experience developing and delivering programs that enhance community well-being. She has worked across a number of sectors, including State Government in Education, Local Government, Sport, and the Child and Family Services Sector. Kate is also a Faculty Member of The Neurosequential Network’s NM-Sport Program, a capacity building program which can inform effectiveness in coaching, performing, training and a host of key skills needed for success in sport.
Kate has been involved in sport for most of her life. she is an ex-professional athlete (Basketball). She has coached at both junior and senior levels, currently sits on the board at Helping Hoops and is passionate about creating sporting environments that are healing-centred, inclusive and safe for everyone.
