Nader Ibrahim is a proud Egyptian immigrant who moved to Australia in 2009 and is a co-founder of the One Culture Group. He has a wide range of experience and interest in community services and is particularly passionate about providing opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
Being from an underprivileged background himself, Nader was able to easily identify key gaps in the community and wanted to create an organisation that provides avenues for sport, that he himself once did not have. One Culture Group was therefore founded to impact and create a difference in individuals lives through sport and social connections.
One Culture Group is a not-for-profit, charity and a social enterprise whose main aim is to empower individuals to build community connections through inclusive group sports and individualised supports.
They pride themselves on being able to provide opportunities for all ages, cultures and abilities with a variety of young, bilingual support staff and coaches to assist those from diverse backgrounds. The organisation has two core values, both sport and inclusivity, which as a result cultivates communities where locals feel safe, supported and able to attend regular sports programs all throughout the year.
