Nadia is the Minister for Small & Family Business and Minister for Multicultural Affairs in the
Malinauskas Labor Government. Family, community service and helping others are a huge part of
who Nadia is. By opening their home to people of varying cultures, abilities and life circumstances,
her parents Tony and Rosemary showed their children the importance of looking out for one
another.
Nadia grew up conscious of those around her and their needs, knowing not all of us have the same
opportunities. So, after finishing her studies at the University of South Australia Nadia knew she
wanted to work in a role that helped others. It is why she has worked in the not-for-profit sector,
why she became a foster carer and why she chose to stand for Parliament.
Having been first elected to the South Australian Parliament in 2022, Nadia was promoted to the
State Cabinet following the 2026 State Election as the Minister for Small and Family Business and
Minister for Multicultural Affairs. Having represented a diverse electorate full of small and family
businesses, Nadia understands just how important these communities are for the prosperity of our
state and is committed to continue bringing South Australians together to collaborate, share and
strengthen our state.
In her downtime you’ll find Nadia at a playground with Miss 9, at a gig with her partner or curled up
with a book and a cup of tea.
